Powered by Stiga’s new generation 500 series powerhead batteries the STIGA SBC 500 AE is a cordless brushcutter and grass trimmer in one with a wide 38cm cutting width. The brushcutter has robust 4 tooth blade to make light work of brambles, densely overgrown area and saplings. The grass cutter has a tap and go nylon head which releases extra line when it’s tapped on the ground. To protect against debris and knocks on the job, the SBC 500 has an aluminium motor housing.The powerhead 500 lithium-ion batteries are two 48v batteries working simultaneously to produce optimal output and the longest battery life possible. The batteries are sold separately and are available 2Ah, 4Ah and 5Ah options. Cordless powered machines are quiet and cost effective. They do not require the maintenance and running costs of a petrol machine. They are environmentally friendly producing zero emissions and give the freedom to work without the restriction of cables.
