Description

The Stihl FSA 90 is powered by the Stihl lithium PRO battery
range and comes fitted with an EC brushless motor. Brushless motors work with
greater efficiently than brushed versions and they run quietly with minimal vibration.
Cordless power allows the user to work cable-free, emission-free
and with minimal running costs. The lithium PRO batteries match the power of
petrol engines, but without the noise and maintenance costs. Battery operated
tools are very popular with groundsmen and contractors working in noise sensitive
areas such as schools and hospitals.Stihl recommend the AP 300 battery (sold separately) which
will run the FSA 90 for 45 minutes on a single charge. If you are a contractor
working on larger areas purchasing a second battery is a productive way of
working for longer periods. To increase battery life and ensure the tool stays
disconnected until you need it, there is a two stage system to connect the
battery; the 1st stage sit the battery in position so it can safely
transported, the 2nd stage connects the battery ready for use.The FSA 90 R has a soft-grip loop handle which is ideal for
working in areas where there are a lot of obstacles and trees and also narrow spaces. Stihl’s Autocut 25-2 trimmer head has a durable 2.4mm nylon
line and the head can be attached without
the need to remove the casing. AutoCut heads release extra line by tapping the
head on the ground. The FSA 90 R is supplied with a basic harness and a hanging
